De nouvelles lignes de fuite se dessinent sur scène. Des colonnes de cinq mètres de haut se dressent comme des monolithes. Les corps s’étirent, s’envolent, s’égaillent et nagent dans les airs…\nFigure du mouvement hip-hop, Mourad Merzouki n’a eu de cesse de frotter cette gestuelle à d’autres langages artistiques pour lui permettre de révéler toutes ses possibilités, créant ainsi un répertoire de spectacles toujours inventifs, inlassablement portés par l’énergie des danses urbaines.Dans Vertikal, Mourad Merzouki s’affranchit du sol où s’ancre habituellement le hip-hop et trouve dans la technique aérienne de la danse-escalade un nouveau défi pour enrichir sa palette.
